Mommy Necklaces started off very humbly. Four and a half years ago, it consisted of me and my small shelf that was placed in my closet. As I got an order, I'd pull out my shelf and make a necklace. Simple as that. I remember the excitement I'd feel when I saw a new necklace request in my inbox. Even today, as each order comes in, I feel so blessed and humbled by the support we get from our customers all over the world. The more I made, the more I learned. The more I talked to you, the more you told me you wanted more. I knew this was something I wanted to do for a living. After resigning as a teacher to stay at home with Megan, I made the transformation from hobby to business. My passion is now to make Mommy Necklaces a household name.
But, I can't do it alone.
After 4 years, it is impossible for me to do all the beading myself. I realized that part of what Mommy Necklaces stands for is sharing myself and my business with Moms around the world. I enlisted the help of two awesome girls, Jennifer and Jody (more about them below), who have decided to help me in this journey to make Mommy Necklaces the new "Mommy Thing". ;) Sharing my joy and passion with them and seeing them return that joy and passion to me is rewarding in itself. My lonely shelf in the closet has now turned into a team of three moms busily beading with passion.
 Beading. With Passion.Their passion for Mommy Necklaces is even inspiring to me. I find their commitment and attentiveness to the quality control and care of our necklaces amazing. Mommy Necklaces could not have two better girls helping and willing to do what it takes to get our necklaces to moms around the world (and without a huge shipping wait!). And while they are beading, they are still trying to help me brainstorm ways to only make Mommy Necklaces bigger and better.
Mommy Necklaces allows the three of us to work-at-home while also contributing to our families financially. We are beyond appreciative for that. We promise to never compromise our committed to quality, safety, and style. Every purchase inspires us. Motivates us. To keep going. It never goes underappreciated. Thank you for giving Mommy Necklaces a purpose and a reason for being!

"Jennifer Novakoski, ‘WAHM’, very blessed mom of two beautiful girls, Mackenzie, 5, and Anna 2 ½ , and married for 6 years to my loving, hardworking, best friend - Joe.
I met Raelynn through her ‘other’ passion – photography! She took my girls photos, and we have been friends ever since. As corny as that sounds, it is the truth! Her excitement and passion is contagious, so being apart of this Mommy Necklace team was a no brainer. I feel like I have the dream – being able to stay at home with my girls while doing a job I feel so passionate about, not to mention working with people I love to be around…can’t get much better than that! I worked in Marketing until we had our first daughter, then was fortunate to be able to continue that from home part time until we had Anna. Ever since I can remember, I knew that I'd do anything in my power to be an at-home mom...so I continue to be blessed to be able to do that with Mommy Necklaces!
Interests / Activities…anything Mom-related, as these kids of ours just grow way too fast! My girls are ‘girly girls’ and love dress-up, dolls, puzzles and coloring…so when at home, you’ll find us doing one of those things! I have been the Assistant Project Manager so to speak for our home that my husband and his family has been building for the past year, so that labor of love feeds my interests of architecture, interior design, finding bargains…and being creative with design and bargains! Photography has always been a love of mine, and as a hobbyist, I work to better capture those precious moments of my children. I enjoy reading for leisure (so yah, not so much of that these days, fellow moms!) and reading to teach myself something new, though usually those books are about how to be a better mom LOL! Cooking is a newly discovered interest; Mackenzie is now in love with the Food Network too…shopping, learning ways to live a ‘greener’ life…and I just really love to help others and see that I’ve brought joy or ease to their life, which is another way Mommy Necklaces ties in!
Meet Jody.
Hi! I'm Jody Nova and I am the most recent addition to the Mommy Necklace team. I started as a fan before I became a member of the team. My passion and desire to nurse my daughter past that difficult 10 month mark lead me to become a huge advocate of the nursing necklace. The necklaces gave her an outlet for her curious mind while she nursed and totally saved our nursing relationship! Now I tell every nursing mom about the Simply Snazzy Necklace and use it daily myself.
 But for us the importance of Mommy Necklaces didn't stop at the infant stage! When my daughter hit her first personality growth phase she struggled with anger. By then my collection included several of the dangling donut designs and as we went through our day these were a huge help in giving her a constructive outlet for her flailing fists when I picked her up as a totally hysterical toddler. So while I am an excited member of the beading team, I am also an avid fan and supporter of the amazing benefits of wearing the Mommy Necklaces with my children. They have helped our family so much!
Outside of this career and raising and homeschooling my children, I also have several other interests. I teach in the children's ministry at Mars Hill Bible Church where we attend, I love beach volleyball, and am hooked on all things computers. I am happiest exploring in the great outdoors and try to lead a simple and fun life with my family. My goal in life is to raise a family that looks back and remembers the love and laughter first.
