We go in late September or early October, we try/eat the different apples as we pick & afterwards we get apple cider and fresh, warm super-delic apple donuts (2)carving pumpkins with my girls & roasting the seeds afterwards.

Our tradition with my husband's family is to go apple picking so the ladies can make apple pies for the holidays! Bonded with my sister-in-law and mother-in-law when I was pregnant after telling them we were expecting our daughter while we were in the orchard. Last year I wore my baby close in a wrap while she fell asleep on the hay ride to the trees. And this year she will be walking! Great memories! And many more to come!

My favorite treat of fall is the return of the Pumpkin Spice Latte from Starbucks. However, even just sitting outside and enjoying the cool crisp weather in a pair of blue jeans is a treat for me. Oh...and also evening bonfires and roasting marshmallows. Heck...what's not a treat when it's fall? :)

Going to the Kurbis festival near Stuttgart Germany. Not only do you get to see hundreds of different types of pumpkins, you also get to taste different recipes made out of pumpkins including wines. Kurbus(pumpkin) spaghetti is to die for, so delicious!

There are so many things about autumn that I love! It is by far my favorite season! The changing leaves, the scent of the air, the crunching of the leaves under our feet! By far my favorite thing in the autumn is baking! My daughters age 10, 9, and 6 love to bake with their Momma! Then at the end of the week we have Family Movie Night and enjoy some of our baked treats! Autumn to me is being all snuggled up with those we love!

Mmmm autumn my fave season... The colours, sun shining on the red n orange trees, the crunch of leaves beneath my feet (when its not raining that is but living on the wet coast of Canada rain is to be expected). Sipping a pumpkin spiced latte from starbucks in the coolmorning air:) heaven. My favorite thing to do in fall is go to Sweet Apple Farms with my kids. We go every year together when my husband comes back from work (he works over the road for 6 weeks at a time and only gets a week off after those 6 weeks). We go through the corn maze, pick pumpkins, make scare crows, watch pig races, cook smores and hot dogs, go on tractor rides etc. It's an amazing place for family and a great tradition for us.

My fave Autumn treat?? Taking the kids to the Pumkin Patch. I love watching them have fun so much fun at the petting zoo, in the jumpy castle and most of all, on the wagon ride out to the patch to pick some pumpkins. Making special family memories- what a treat! And I'm Canadian, so Thanksgiving is a reason to celebrate in Autumn! This year, my favorite thing is going to be seeing my son's face when he puts on his Halloween costume. He's 2.5 this year and I think will have a lot more fun than in previous years, plus I am making him a Super Grover costume. We already have the cape and he keeps putting it on and running around the house saying he is Super Grover. I have a feeling he might be wearing this costume a lot. It's so much fun to experience the joy of new experiences with a toddler. :)

I buy myself a new notebook/organizer/planner/pens SOMETHING every year! I love crunchy piles of leaves. Autumn is by far my favorite season, and I am a New England girl so I get all four seasons! It is my favorite season for all the great colors, great food, and temperate (for the most part) weather. My favorite Autumn treat is the creamy pumpkin scented candle from Bath and Body Works! I love the way my home smells when burning that candle! I have never tried Mommy Necklaces but they are so cute and practical and I can't wait to get my first one!

Favorite treat is setting up the holiday decor, transforming the house into a rich, warm and cozy home. Setting out the candles to tie it al, together, and gathering around the table to play family games while eating freshly baked pumpkin spice bread! Just doesn't get any better than this <3 :)

I love the necklace! How beautiful! I'm just looking forward to fall weather this year... We've been in Hawaii for the past 3.5 years and while it's beautiful here, I miss my seasons! Now 3.5 years, 2 more babies and a deployment later, I finally get to feel the crispness of autumn! :-)
